Librarian Pirate for The Fourth of July

It's amazing what you can do with a book cart when you try. Every year for the fourth of July, the neighborhood around my library holds a parade. The librarians always march in the parade, in a costume matching the summer reading theme. This year, we all dressed up as pirates and I changed one of the bookcarts into a pirate ship. It was a lot of fun, handing out old books from the book sale to the people watching the parade. But the next day, one of the kids at the library informed that in fact we were not the best pirates in the parade. Remind me not to quit my day job.
